The AKKR8 Sensor is a remote autonomous sensing system that allows the measuring of sensor data such as industrial sensors, temperature and humidity, air quality and acceleration and it can be expanded to measure other things as well. With a cellular connection built into the unit, the measurements can be uploaded to the internet on a periodic basis.
AKKR8® is a platform that can work with numerous sensors, internal and external. AKKR8® Devices are intended to make testing of IoT easy, fast and inspiring.
The device has a Powerful CPU that runs our operating system that is based on MicroPython. The design has an ultra-low power usage and is very kind on batteries even though it has a microcontroller.

CE/UKCA
AKKR8 Sensor conforms with CE and UKCA. The sensor conforms with EN61326-1:2013. The CE-certificate can be downloaded here.
Safety
AKKR8 Sensor conforms with EN 61010:1.
Lithium batteries
Some of the AKKR8 sensor models contains a Li-Ion battery that is rechargeable and can be replaced by a new battery if needed. The device contains the charger so it is very important not change to another battery. The battery must be sourced from AKKR8 only. Using another battery is dangerous. Models with battery has this label on the outside of the box:
Recycling
Batteries supplied with the sensor should be recycled, contact AKKR8 AB for advise on where and how to dispose your battery.
Radio transmitter
The AKKR8 sensor contains a radio transmitter and is not meant to be within 20cm of a person’s head when in normal use.
The protection features built into this unit may be impaired if not used according to the instructions provided. In applications that do not directly meet the way the AKKR8 Sensor is expected to be used, discuss your application with us for further advice.
