The OMTH (O = Outdoor, M = Motion detection, T = Temperature, H = Humidity) of AKKR8 is a professional-grade outdoor IoT sensor for temperature and humidity designed for precise monitoring. The device has an accelerometer that will wake up the device if its motion exceeds the set limit. This can be used as an indicator of a malfunctioning machine, a theft or other abnormalities. Equipped with an external IP65-rated sensorprobe, the device delivers highly accurate measurements of temperature and humidity, even in harsh conditions.

Rugged and energy-efficient design

The main unit is protected by a rugged IP65 housing, ensuring dust and water resistance, while the internal electronics operate efficiently to extend battery life and reduce maintenance needs. The M12 power connector guarantees secure connections no matter the conditions. The device has a built in antenna to ensure integrity.

Each sensor is ready to deploy straight out of the box, providing immediate connectivity via LTE-M cellular networks. Data can be accessed through your preferred IoT platform or via AKKR8’s ready-made packages, which include just the sensor, connectivity, and platform integration.

The AKKR8 Outdoor Sensor A8 OMTH measures temperature and humidity via an external sensorprobe that is precise and reliable. The sensor comes with a 2-meter cable and is easy to install. It measures temperature and humidity once per hour, storing the data in the device and sending it to the platform twice a day, where you can access operational data. The estimated battery life is 100 days, and the measurement frequency can be adjusted as needed. Its rechargeable battery is environmentally friendly, eliminating the need for regular replacements.

All units are equipped with three digital inputs and one output. The device will wake up when a motion is triggered that is above the set limit, making it ideal for alarms. The inputs are designed for connecting additional sensors. This feature provides flexible integration for monitoring and alert systems.
