AKKR8 Outdoor Sensor A8 OTH

The OTH (O = Outdoor, T = Temperature, H = Humidity) of AKKR8 is a professional-grade outdoor IoT sensor for temperature and humidity designed for precise monitoring. Equipped with an external IP65-rated sensorprobe, it delivers highly accurate measurements of temperature and humidity, even in harsh conditions such as construction sites, industrial yards, or remote locations.

Rugged and energy-efficient design

The main unit is protected by a rugged IP65 housing, ensuring dust and water resistance, while the internal electronics operate efficiently to extend battery life and reduce maintenance needs. The M12 power connector guarantees secure connections no matter the conditions. The device has a built in antenna to ensure integrity.

Each sensor is ready to deploy straight out of the box, providing immediate connectivity via LTE-M cellular networks. Data can be accessed through your preferred IoT platform or via AKKR8’s ready-made packages, which include just the sensor, connectivity, and platform integration.

The AKKR8 Outdoor Sensor A8 OTH measures temperature and humidity via an external sensorprobe that is precise and reliable. The sensor comes with a 2-meter cable and is easy to install. It measures temperature and humidity once per hour, storing the data in the device and sending it to the platform twice a day, where you can access operational data. The estimated battery life is 100 days, and the measurement frequency can be adjusted as needed. Its rechargeable battery is environmentally friendly, eliminating the need for regular replacements.

All units are equipped with three digital inputs and one output. The first input can immediately wake the device, making it ideal for alarms. The other two inputs are designed for connecting additional sensors. This feature provides flexible integration for monitoring and alert systems.

Option 1 provides the standalone device, ready to use with your existing IoT platform of choice.

Option 2 allows you to use the sensor with our preconfigured mythings.cloud platform based on ThingsBoard, giving you immediate access to connectivity, data visualization, and analytics.

Option 3 offers a fully custom setup, where we configure your own ThingsBoard instance so you can add additional sensors and fully own the platform, while we handle the initial configuration and deployment for you.

High-Precision Sensor Technology

The sensorprobe features a 2 meter cable. The sensor element is a monolithic circuit for measuring humidity and temperature, providing low measurement deviation and hysteresis, along with excellent long-term stability. Humidity and temperature sensors are factory-calibrated, with calibration data stored directly on the chip, ensuring consistent accuracy without the need for recalibration or software adjustments.
